To trade it, most likely. Or sell it.

Doing a golf/beer trip to Portland and Bandon Dunes would be badass too.
Funny you should mention that... I was thinking the same thing.
I would be happy to host.

Was just gonna say that, they are within an hour of each other. Greatest smell i ever experienced in my life was at alchemists cannery. Drank heady straight from their tap. Amazing day.

have to say.. after tasting Pliny and Heady side by side on Saturday, Heady is my preference of the two.

I'm a SA fan but pumkinator just doesn't do it for me. I can't believe people are buying multiple cases of it.
This, its a good pumpkin brew but there are guys buying to offer it as trade bait to get whale type brews like Alpine Great, Morning Delight, Leon and others on BA right now. There was a thread that got axed on Reddit last night where a guy wanted to go 1:1 for Hunahpu and then got a bit upset when someone told him he was crazy..

BBrou - forgot to tell you. I was sitting at breakfast with all of our BXN beer at the table when coach Miles walked by. He stopped, raised an eyebrow at my stash, then smiled and walked on...
I have no idea what he was thinking I was doing with two boxes of beer next to my sausage and eggs...
FWIW - He was having breakfast with Adoree Jackson.

I agree. I have been fortunate enough to do this a few times and Heady makes Pliny seem malty.
Saturday was fun guys!

I have to admit, I didn't compare them. I don't think I tried them one after another. There were a few other beers in between, so I didn't think to do a direct comparison. I have a Heady at home, so I need to go get a Pliny and research this further...

It just happened that I had pours of those 2 back to back. I agree with Kim on my i prefer Heady.. it is more crisp and the flavors are tighter than Pliny.

haven't had heady but I prefer Double Jack to Pliny...degrees of awesomeness I know.
Posted on 10/14/13 at 2:02 pm to Rohan2Reed
i will take Pliny, double Jack or Abrasive over Heady. Don't care that style of that of three floyds nearly as much.

Heady
Double Jack
Pliny
Abrasive
Rankings may change since I haven't had Abrasive since last year but Heady is the clear cut #1. Best DIPA I've ever had.
