In a new twist, we added most of the hops toward the end of the boil, shooting for more aroma and flavor. Adding hops toward the end instead of at the beginning increases the aroma and flavor while actually decreases the bitterness of the beer, but this one is still plenty hoppy!
It was hopped at 30 minutes left in the boil with Galaxy and Kohatu; 5 minutes left with the same blend; and dry-hopped in the fermenter after day 4 with a blend of about 1/3 Galaxy and 2/3 Kohatu.
That sounds reallly good.

Nothing for me today... drank plenty last night while brewing, got up this morning and did the Baton Rouge run for Boston... trying to be all healthy and shite.

Had a regular Founders Breakfast Stout and a bunch of homebrew after this morning's trail run. Taking the kids to the spring game, so won't have anything til this evening.

TBD is a Abita Spring IPA at Mellow Mushroom.
