traded w/ a guy who duct taped bubble wrap to each bottle. I wanted to kill him after unpacking three bottles.

I've gone to using rubber bands for everything. Preserves the bubble wrap for reuse. Wish my trading partners would do the same.

I had a pint @ Ave Pub yesterday, kegged 11/05. It is the best Enjoy By I've had to date .. and I'd put it in the top 10 of IPA's I've ever had.

I'd put Enjoy By in my top 10 as well. Glad to see we are starting to get it pretty often.

Set up an online account with FedEx. Takes 2 seconds, get a discount, you put the weight and dimensions in, sometimes it get reweighed sometimes not, slap label on box, put on counter and flick off person, walk out.

Great talk about IPAs. NBD is Hop Venom by Boneyard. I am here to say that Boneyard makes IPAs with the best if them. I'd go as far as to say that RPM, Hop Venom, and Notorius are as good of an IPA/IIPA/IIIPA combo as you'll find anywhere. Bar none.

Damn great idea.

Yeezy if you shoot me an email tonight or tomorrow I can grab you some Austin stuff. Or we can work stuff out later.
The key to shopping beer is wrap it, pack it tight, trash bag it, twice if you want, seal tight, ship

Wasn't me. I just make sure the bubble wrap stays rolled up around the bottle.

It was a guy in PA. Now every time someone mentions taping bubble wrap I think of that shipment.

NBD is Elysian Dragonstooth Stout.

Left my phone at home when Ihad the Hop Venom and DTS, so I'll entertain you with a pic from earlier in the day.

I pack weird, using soft coolers that I have laying from promotional events. But my shite always arrives safe and I think that I make up for weird packaging with prepaid return freight for my traders.

Plus they never ask you what you're shipping if you have an account. I do get a drop off receipt in case they lose the box and I have to make an insurance claim.

Psssh, that's all you got? I'd kill that case of Abyss in about 6 hours.

Serious question...Does Abyss sit on the shelves there(Portland/Oregon) or does it sell out pretty quickly?

I taped the hell out of my 1st trade. Shat happens.

It's not as bad as it sounds...razor blade the tape and stuff your next trade right back up in the slit. Really isn't a big deal.

FBD: Cambridge Tripel Threat

Not bad. Especially since I only paid $1.99 for the bomber.

First I've heard of this. I know someone in St. Louis coming in town for Thanksgiving. I'm going to see if they'll mule some for me.
