Quick story
The other day one as listening to WFUV and the DJ said it "would have been Fats' 88th birthday"
I called and told him he was still alive.
He apologized and thought it was so cool that I was calling from S.La asked if there was anything I wanted to hear? I said yes your favorite Johnny Cash song since it was also his birthday...
Ps WFUV Is Fordhams station, the team LSU just swept in baseball

to be fair, up until 5 years ago or so, I didn't realize fats was still alive either until I read about him being airlifted during Katrina. NBD
