Moo's Craft BBQ is up there with any Tx BBQ place. The mac-n-cheese is probably the best I've ever had.

Duchess. Chicken sandwiches and Donuts. Last time I ate there it was called "Birdies" but the menu seems to be similar.

Also a lot of good ethnic options in Grand Central Market.

Was that Deer Valley? We're supposed to head to DV a week from Thursday

Snowbasin. They don’t like my kind at Deer Valley

It was still good today, but hard to predict what it will be like in 10 days with no snow. Hopefully they can keep making snow and keep it groomed for ya.

Yesterday was perfect. Good to see the mountain in white again :nana:
More new terrain today and tomorrow.

Yeti- I’m down to meet up. I’ll be out there almost everyday Friday riding.

I can't stress this enough. These people are fricking weird - possibly the weirdest population group in this country.

Haven't met many Scandinavians, but I'd bet these Utah Mormons could give 'em a run for their money.
Yep, been a weird winter for sure. Most of December it was 20+ degrees above average with rain halfway up the mountains. Had some decent snow the last couple weeks, but turning warm and dry again. Maybe February will be better :wah:

This is much easier to justify as a condition of probation or parole. Judges can restrict otherwise legal conduct while someone is still serving a sentence. Once that period ends, stamping a “no alcohol sales” marker onto an ID looks like a restriction on rights. It creates a subclass of adults barred from legal commerce based on past offenses.

That is what is happening. They are banned from buying "for a period of time" (guess that depends on the judge)... Not forever.

Also, not sure if anyone actually read it, this is for "extreme dui" of .16 or higher. Which if you are doing that here you are a retard. The legal limit is .05, and the penalties are harsh enough for that.

Do they still cap ABV in beer? Bud heavy 3.2% or similar?

No, it's 5% to be served on draft. Anything higher comes out of a can/bottle. Makes no fricking sense.

From my understanding, they're expecting another big system at the end of February which should really help Mardi Gras skiers in/around the Wasatch.

God I hope there’s other snow before that

This was also my first time back in about 7 years. Prices to ski have absolutely skyrocketed. Lift tickets for adults were $390/day. Kids ski school is $600/day. Considering Europe next year.

You did pick the most expensive resort in the country :dunno:

When were you here? Park City got a good amount of snow after new year’s. Might have been raining at the base today though.

Slow year for me, but I did get a new airport (PIT). My wife and my first time in Pittsburgh, we were impressed and would definitely go back. The baseball stadium is awesome and getting to see Paul Skenes from behind home plate was a treat. Hard to beat 8 rows up for $100 a ticket

Had a short drive to Moab in April for Arches NP and some other state parks.

Drove to LA to meet a friend for a Dodgers/Yankees game.

One one-way flight to BR to help my in-laws drive their vehicle up here. Another great road trip with my dad.

Flew nonstop from SLC to MSY on Delta again this year for early Thanksgiving with family. Cannot recommend this flight enough to anyone coming here. You are there before you know it.

Not sure on next year's travels, but it is our 10 year anniversary, so probably something big in August. Other than that, I think we will make some road trips to Southern Utah again, Montana, PNW and possibly Redwoods or Sequoia NP.

Had my first real day of riding yesterday at snowbird. Ended up with 25k vert. Good to be out there, but I'm really hoping more terrain gets opened up soon. Looks to be a solid week of snow starting tomorrow in the Wasatch.

Nonexistent. Thankfully. Makes it sooooo much colder.
