It means less alcohol so you can throw them back. People either love or hate that beer up here, it may be the hops they use in it.

I rarely drink it because it is not the value on tap that it is in the bottle.
The value of the day: WF has Half Hitch on tap for $3.99/pint. That's a 10.5% ABV monster, and it tastes great, too.
