FBsD- flight at Canon & Draw. Two milk stouts, an English brown, a Baltic Porter, and an American Barleywine.



One of the local restaurants is also doing a pop-up Cajun dinner here, so I'm going to try some things out.

So far the wheat wine is pretty excellent. I'd say it's kinda like an elevated DKML... malty and bourbon. I think my next one up will be the orange/coco nib variant. Stay tuned for verdict

NBD- the wheat ale. This will probably be my last as I have a 10k to run tomorrow morning.



So here's the food. Ordered a boudin, "Filthy Rice", the gumbo and the PO Boy.





The boudin was fine but didn't need bread or mustard. The Filthy Rice was OK but was given Cholula for hot sauce. The gumbo tastes really off, like the roux was burnt or something. The Po Boy was the most solid thing, and that's not saying much.
