That was a good read but I especially appreciate the link to the "A Cocktail for What Ails You" story.

Happy holidays, El Tigre.

Sometimes...my friend ate at the purple truck after a show at tips about a month ago. Had the mussels and grit fries.

He has been bringing it to festivals...he was at the poboy fest with it and at this fundraiser for the Hollygrove Market...

When the 40,000 Lutheran kids were in town, my gf and I were driving around after dinner and noticed (no joke) numerous packs of 40-50 of the Lutheran kids wandering Poydras and Canal...then we kept driving and saw the Sucre truck on Frenchman at like 8pm with no line. We got ice cream from them...I described the scene on Poydras...they thanked me...we drove around a bit more...on the way home we see the Sucre truck on Poydras with a half a block long line with a general party scene of 100's of kids standing around with ice cream.

all they were hearing at that point was "cha-ching, cha-ching, new flatscreen TV, cha-ching, getting drunk tonight, cha-ching".

ice cream parties are like coked up stripper parties for holy rollers.

Sucre guys may have retired since that night.

Well, I expect a carton of their avocado gelato for my efforts before they do.
