The Aero bar is not the same as Choco-lite. The Aero bar just has little air bubbles in it; Choco-lite had little crisps in it.

As far as beverages go, I remember drinking New York Seltzer Company, and some milkshakes in little cartons called Shake-A-Shake

Still exist and pretty easy to find here. One of my In Laws neighbors works for Lance and he sometimes gives me a giant box of them for Christmas.

Pre-K there was a restaurant on the corner of S Carrollton Av and Cleveland called Jerusalem Deli. They had a dish of beef chunks, onions and pine nuts that I remember to this day. It sounds simple but it must have been the oils and/or spices that made it so special. I have tried to find it at other middle-eastern restaurants as well as comparable recipes on line in vain since then. Also Manuel's Hot tamales and the enormous menu that Liuzza's on Bienville used to have pre-k. Much bigger selection than nowadays. It was kinda crazy the number of items they had on there.

And the one I miss the most, Doo Dads. I loved those things.

Head and shoulders better than Chex mix.

Doo Dads times a billion. A couple years ago Ritz had a 100cal pack of a "snack mix" that was verrrrrry close. Can't find it on the shelf anymore either.

Yeah, I agree, but they still have that all important frozen heavy glass bowl of a beer mug to fill with your favorite barley pop.
