Lou’s thin crust was one of our favorites when we lived there.

Art of Pizza on Ashland (Lakeview) is better than Giordano’s and Lou, in my opinion

Lou's is available on Amazon. And it's good.

Pizanos thin crust

Will be staying 2 blocks from State St. in a couple weeks, I'll give it a shot.

When i visited Chicago it was the weekend of the marathon, unbeknownst to me. So, I had zero shot of getting Giordanos or Malnatis pizza unless I wanted to waste 5 hours of my life.

So, a local friend told me about Pizanos which he lived close to and was his place of choice.

I wasn't sorry at all. I had the deep dish twice and tried some pasta. The food was amazing but that's the only place I had pizza at but its hard to imagine anyone else being so much better. I have to go back and try more places.
