Couyons on Burbank has tailed off a bit. I hear they are moving to a free-standing place, but I don't recall where.
I gathered on this board that the two Couyon's are feuding relatives.
The Port Allen people pimp their place on here, so I'm sure they will show up soon.

Couyons in port Allen is very good. The other location you speak of is on the ground level of the "luxury" apartments on nicholson behind walkons.

I'm from Houston too and there really isn't anything in Baton Rouge that can compare. You're not gonna find any Goode Company BBQ quality food here. Same way as you can't find gumbo or etouffe in Houston to match south LA.

dont really have a good place IMO
But here are some places...jays, sonnys, couyons, podnuhs, TJ's...
If you ever feel like driving to denham there is a place called HI-Ho's that I heard was good
