I had the Hefe Weisse the first time at Chimes a few years ago. Not bad, it has sort of a smokey taste.

If they have it...this stuff is delicious.

The Delerium is really really good too...not sure which one, but comes in white bottle and has pink elephant on it...tried it at Chimes and really liked it.

Yeah, that's an important comment.

Most of these belgian imports are meant to be drank from a tulip-glass or goblet. If you don't have one, a large wine glass or brandy snifter would suffice, and certainly be better than a pint glass or straight from the bottle.

Delirium is my favorite beer..and if you're ever in Brussels go to the Delirium Cafe and get the 7 litre Delirium Tremens..bring friends haha. It makes for a fun night. But it's not dark...neither is Duvel--they're both wheat bears. If you want a good Dark Belgian beer then go for a chimay (blue) or a leffe. I like Newcastle Brown Ale as well.

Westmaelle Trappiste (not sure if they sell it here) but worth getting if they do.

have you had Delirium yet. They have 2 types there, Delirium Nocturnum, and Delirium Tremens.
I've had anchor steam once, wasn't a big fan. I had their original.

Tried both of these last night at the TapRoom in Lafayette. Very good. Also had Chimay Red. Kinda sweet. Smells like ball sack.
