I seriously doubt you can find them for that right now.
Got mine in Cocodrie as well as the poster above for that cost......(to be fair, I purchased those a couple months back)
Sometimes I find if you hit it really lucky you can do even better than that. When I go fishing, sometimes I'm more excited about searching for shrimp deals after than the fishing excursion. Even better than the dock deals are the deals you can sometimes get off of the boat.
As a quick digression, how can anyone buy the shrimp they sell at Rouses? They have them on ice in the middle of the seafood section and almost every time I go in there the heads are getting orange, and they are horrendously over priced.

which place?
If you driving to Grand Isle it will be on the left right after you get passed the flood gates. I took a business card but don't have it with me but I think it is the shimp shed or crab shed. They was selling both shimp and crab. Can look for phone number when I get home if you want to call before making a trip.

For "9/12's"? Or 10/15's? Or 16/20's? There is a pretty big difference in price even though the shrimp look similar in size.
If you got them for that it's a great price but it would be really stupid for a place to sell them for that right now. The dock price (what shrimp processors buy from the docks for) is $3.00 right now. My brother who runs a shrimp processing plant bought a trailer load (25,000+lbs) last week of 9/12's and he still paid $3.00 for them at that quantity.
