You kiddin me? Gonzo's Smokehouse has the best BBQ within 250 miles of Gonzales. Dude sells out before the store even opens most days. Consistently gets rated as the best BBQ in Louisiana (which is admittedly not a BBQ state) but even the elitists from Texas will tell you that Jason is on to something big.

Pinkerton's is 345 miles from Gonzo's, so I'll bump my estimate up from 250 miles to that.

Pricing being so out of whack is constant annoyance.
I don’t mind paying $$$$ for $$$$ dining/food.
Or $$$ for $$$.
But so many places it’s $$ for $ and $$$ for $$.
So there’s a lot of good places we don’t go anymore because we’ve found more equitable similar places.

I have a coworker that used to bring Gonzo's to share with us at work when he was smoking stuff in his backyard for fun. I'm well aware of Gonzo's, but like I said I'm talking Gonzales/Prairieville.
