I have some friends who went to Vandy in 98-2000.

Powerman did you see that there is a VooDoo BBQ coming next to Hobby Lobby.

The wife and I try to go different places to eat when on the road. Griffins and Castalanos are always good options. I like hitting up Big Al's on Wednesday. 10 dollars all you can eat catfish and dollar beer everyday from 3-7.

With Mexican food, I like El Mexicano, but we usually make the trip to Raceland to Cajun La Mex or whatever it is called.

I rather Chinese food over Japenese so we usually hit up Samarui.

If you are looking for lunch stuff, Cajun Meat Market, Jolly Inn, etc all have good plate lunches.

Big Mikes is good for some BBQ.

Sweet

I agree with most of those picks but I work on the east side and traffic is too horrendous to take lunch on the west side

At any rate I'm meeting a girl for a glass of wine at the piano bar. Should be an intellectual endeavor

Mr. PoBoy on the east side is money. My wife said TARC serves good plate lunches. Peppers is always good for pizza.

Johnny Boys was great, but they shut down a while back.

Man that was my favorite place to go eat lunch when I was a kid. I will have to keep an eye out for the Voodoo BBQ; I didn't notice that one.

That's one of the best desserts I've ever had

I could order about 5 of those and just put myself in a diabetic coma
