Zee's has a better atmosphere.

Than St. Pizza? No way. I like Zee's and going next door to Lucy Boone is a great treat, but St. Pizza is much more enjoyable for sit down or even going next door to Patron Saint.

Lol?

Not even remotely in the same category as places like Delicious, St.Pizza, Il Supremo, Forbidden, etc etc

I actually appreciate Theos for what it is, but even they would never claim to be a "NY pizza joint." It's apples to oranges style-wise to all those other places.

In the years he’s talking about, it was located on Carrollton near Brocato’s, and was probably the most legit NY style pizza in New Orleans. As good as the places listed here now? Nah, but it was legit still.

Place on Magazine now is straight garbage, though. It’s terrible.

Ah, that makes more sense maybe

$6 pint and slice is the only redeeming quality now.

I was shocked by it but Whole Foods pizza is close to NYC style and priced well. I like the mushroom and onion slice.

Go to Dominica in the Roosevelt between 3 and 5 in the afternoon for the half price pizza and wine happy hour. We sit at the bar.

It is more Italian than New York, but that is my recommendation.
