I use both. All Clad for most things but my magnalite for gumbo.

I bought all-clad and I wish I had gotten mcware or magnalite only because my big all clad is so damn heavy. My big one is a 16 quart I think and when its full it weighs probably 60 lbs.

How does magnalite differ from mcware?

Once tried a case where a woman was frying chicken in a magnalite pot at her church. Knocked the pot off the stove and burned herself badly, and then sued the church.

I threw out all my old magnalite pots that my maw maw gave me years ago and switch to stainless steel. I find it cooks a gumbo better.

You could've sold them on Ebay for a hefty price if they're vintage Wagner Ware.

Magnalite makes a nice gravy. The liquid sticks to the pot and browns better than most other pots. I like stainless steel, All Clad for gumbo with the copper bottom because the heavy bottom distributes the heat nicely.

Sold mine and went to cast iron and stainless. Leaching aluminum isn't worth the performance to me.

They couldn't replicate the results showing that Magnalite/aluminum cookware leached aluminum.

It's my understanding that this is only true because magnalite anodizes their pots. Using metal spoons will damage that protective layer and then all bets are off. Just my opinion, not worth the risk. Sure amounts will be low, but think of it in terms of lifetime exposure.
