terrible location with outside seating that had a view of a parking lot
it wasn't a college hangout either as you had to be 21
they tried to make it work with food but that was hit or miss as well

Didn’t they just remodel/change up how they were operating, like they changed from self-serve to more of a bar setup?

This is very random, but last time we were there, there was an unusually large number of tables with lesbian women.
Just not something you see everyday in such high levels in BR.
I wonder how their other place, Tap 65, is doing. Feel like I always see it being raved about on social media.

who's fault is it this time? economy/covid or chain restaurants?

Trying to convince college kids to sample craft beers isn't really a great business decision. That's why Tap 65 works.

does it? I cannot figure out why they would not open for lunch during the week.

I have no clue, like one of the previous posters mentioned they did a big renovation several months ago.

I have heard similar things about the location on Government. That's what my wife told me. Should I be worried?

I mean, nothing wrong with it for me, but was just unexpected to see such a high concentration of in a tap beer bar.
They were doing a crawfish boil, and the person boiling was a woman too.

College students are cheap and don't care about anything but mixed drinks and light beer. Tap 65 is in the young adult early 20/30s age group. That tries to push Indian food instead of standard bar food. You'll get more people paying $30/$40 per than you would at Mid Tap.
