Late night food is what people actually remember. Waffle or breakfast station, taco bar, or ramen cups always get crushed. One small touch that looked cool was using edible flower garnish on a couple cocktails and desserts, it made the whole thing feel intentional. Then after the wedding we preserved the bouquet through DBANDREA, so the flower theme didn’t just disappear the next day.

My niece married into the Avery Family, got married on the Island. They had a Pasta Station! I hit the table, too many times.

Forgot this one but we had conch fritters at a South Florida wedding.

I got married at the Rusty Pelican on Key Biscayne. We had those and they went fast. A huge guy in a very small boat rode by as we were saying our vows. He was screaming, "Don't do it!"

He ended up being right.

Pizza delivered at midnight when the reception was ending. Took a box to the room and the rest to those who survived that long. Leftovers made it to the conference room of the hotel and drinks and pizza commenced between family and friends for hours.

Lucky Dog Cart. A Lucky Dog on your way out of a wedding just hits right.

How authentic was the LDC? Were there palmetto bugs doing the backstroke in the "Dog tank?"
