Another great Asian restaurant is TAO, I like the one located downtown in the meat packing district.
check it out
TAO
One of my personal favorites is Union Square Cafe Union Square Cafe
Indochine pronounced (Indo-sheen) is another of my older favorties.. It's been around forever. It's downtown and it's a Japanese-Thai fusion restaurant. It's a lot of fun and a very New York type experience.

Ill be up there Thursday. Here are my normal stomping grounds: Gnocco, Lenny's, Bereket Kabob House, Rudy's, Sophie's, Doc Holiday's, Bull McCabbe's to name a few restaurant/bars.

We went last week and hit Gramercy Tavern, Nomad, Momufuku and Scarpetta. All solid and there are so many good places in the city, but Gramercy Tavern and Momufuku stood out above the other two. Hit LeBernadin last trip and would highly recommend if you can get in there. Good stuff- enjoy!

I have been going to The Smith a decent amount in the east village. Good drinks and food, bar downstairs is a pretty cool spot.
