The artic zero is not very good. Try and find Halo Top. Similar nutritional profile and tastes like real ice cream.

Agree 100%

Artic Zero is garbage

Halo Top is incredible. Sweetened with inulin fiber and erythritol.

So Delicious No Sugar Added Coconut Milk Dessert is 2nd place (especially butter pecan)

Breyers Carb Smart isn't bad, but it is sweetened with sucralose and sorbitol.

I try to stick to products that only have erythritol (or non nutritive substitutes like as sweetener. I avoid maltitol at all costs. I incur some sorbitol and xylitol in chewing gum.

Picked some Arctic Zero up before I saw the posts about how bad it is.

Arctic zero tastes like a frozen protein shake. Nothing at all like ice cream. Halo top can legitimately stand up to proper ice cream.

Guess I'll find out tomorrow. Got it after I finished dinner and it doesn't sound like it's worth breaking the fast for it.

Heading to velvet cactus tomorrow evening. They have that sugar free margarita.

quote:

167 Calories with 2.5 ounces of tequila: Sauza Blue Reposado 100% Agave tequila and Baja Bob's Sugar Free Margarita Mix

Wonder how many carbs are in that thing. I looked up the sugar free margarita mix and it says 0 carbs, but I'm wondering if they get some carbs in there somehow. Whatcha think? Should I just stick to tito's and water instead of risking it?

Since you're still early in keto, I'd say skip it. Once you're fully fat adapted you can see how it affects you.

That mix looks fine, but you can't go wrong with vodka /soda or water.

I am so fat that I can lose weight and it is not even noticeable lol. If I reach my goal I will post before and after photos. I am old so not scared.

Keto/low carb people: have you tried Cello Whisps Parmesan Crisps? The only ingredient is parmesan cheese. Per 15 chips:

100 cal
7 g fat
<1g carb
9g protein

I get them at Costco, and they're amazing. My favorite snack.

Making the keto push this Monday. Gonna prep this Sunday, pretty much from what I read aim for 20 carbs a day no more than 25.

Do fats and protein count as much or should I just worry about the carbs for now?

I can't speak for everyone, but as long as I stay within my carb range, I don't really need to track the other macros. I eat to satiety & weight goes down.

Protein is typically a goal to reach and fat is used to keep you satiated

Where do you buy those?

That'd be good with pimento.

Damn son

15 to a serving and 100 calories?
I could get down with that.
9g's of #Gainz ain't too shabby either.

I need those to quell any sudden urge to eat a party size bag of Zapps Hotter'n hot jalapeño.

Yes! 15 is a big serving. They're super crunchy & a perfect substitute for chips. I picked up some guacamole to try with them.

Costco tends to move them around in the store. Sometimes they're by the chips, sometimes in the aisle with salty snacks/prepackaged meals, sometimes on an endcap. $9.99/bag, with 15 servings in a bag.

We've got a SAMs account. No Costco over here on the northshore that I know of.

I'm gonna have to get an account and just start hitting it up when I'm in N.O.

What's the Costco membership run?

Damn. I didn't realize Costco wasn't over there. It's $55 for the basic membership, but they have deals on livingsocial occasionally where you get a bunch of free shite with it (I got a 72 pack of AA batteries (wtf), a $20 gift card, a bag of tortilla chips (wtf), & a free pizza).

These chips are worth it.
