Define ketosis. It may lower it. But it isn't knocking you out. Read the KG links provided, especially busbeepbeep's article.

Depends on the beers. You could probably drink a couple of Envies and get away with it if you planned it out.

If you're talking imperial beers, no way.

I'd guesstimate ~10g carb/Envie. You could theoretically drink 3 and get away with it if you ate 0 carbs otherwise.. especially if you drink them post-workout. Post workout carbs

Ketosis is simply when your body is using ketones as energy. Atleast in my experience when my ratio of protein to fat gets to high of the protein side i get knocked out according to the keto sticks. Thats all i have to go by as i dont have a blood ketone monitor. Maybe the sticks just dont read it or i am using all the ketones as fuel and am not excreting any, i dunno but it happens to me everytime.

Once you've become fat adapted, the keto sticks are less effective because your body isn't excreting ketones through urine, they are being used by the body more efficiently.

I think I should grab one since I am incredibly bored with myself. I still lift, but am not religious about it. It would be very fun to compare different foods with different glycemic indexes vs glycemic loads.

I had a snowball yesterday...my girlfriend will be the death of me.

Up .2, had Albasha for lunch yesterday and that always makes me retain water.

Had bulletproof coffee this AM (KG butter, organic coconut oil, vanilla extract and some Truvia).. sensation is incredible. Feels like I took a thermogenic.

Skipped drinkin last night. It was tough, but I thought about #Gainz and progress pics.

I cut out stevia today from my coffee. Not sure if it was creating a spike or not, but it's gone anyway.

Yesterday, beer...today, stevia

I've been sucking this week. Had sushi last night and keep getting cravings late after my 8hr window. About to burn a ton of calories tonight playing some basketball.


Maybe I'll be able to fast from lunch today to tomorrow's lunch.

Last night #gainz. La Boca variety platter split 3 ways. Hanger med rare, outside skirt med rare, skirt with the skin. Had asparagus as a side.




On the gainz front, just finished the 8th week of Phraks Greyskull LP.
Maintained the progression. Only failed to get 5 reps this week on OHP. May look into a different program or continue this for a few more weeks until my other lifts stop progressing.
