They should put a Tits-n-Grits there.

1.) Hugo's is incredible upscale Mexican food.

2.) Does no one from BR want a locally-owned place to move into this space in Perkins Rowe?

I would be willing to sacrifice local for Kenny and Ziggy.

i would love a pub style place, kind of like the Bulldog or The Cove.

I'd love a beer joint to go have a few at after a movie or dinner. There are two wine bars next door to each other, why not a nice pub?

I would, but face facts...its not going to happen. Look what stores and restaurants occupy Perkins Rowe. Its just not going to happen. That is why I suggested Chart House.

Also, Rick Bayless is probably the best at "upscale Mexican" in this country. Frontera won a James Beard award a couple of years ago.

Stephan Pyles was the first man from the state of Texas inducted into the James Beard Foundation's Who's Who in America.

Pyles is more Southwestern than just "Mexican", but never the less, does much more than slopping cheese and pickled peppers on things and calls it "Mexican".

OK.. here's a locals idea.. How about a Fred's.. I would say a Murphy's would be cool.. but I don't know if BR is ready for another Murphy's.. and these places may be considered too casual to fit into the PR concept

Not sure that's the direction Spindo is looking to go with the place.

Chart House has some beautiful restaurants on the coast in CA.

I don't think it's a good idea for Perkins Rowe.
