What most people don't realize that is just because they see a SYSCO truck parked in front of a building it doesn't mean the company is using pre-packaged food.

Sysco will handle distribution for anything from mom and pop products, to Tyson food products, to plastic ware for to go orders.

I think it's just become an easier way for people to say, "they're serving frozen food".

I agree. That's kind of my point but New Orleans has it's fair share of "Purple Goose" . Or would that be Purple Geese?

And I have bought linens and wine glasses from Sysco that I keep stored for when I have parties.

purple goose was fricking horrible. it was like an episode of that show where the a-hole brit shows up and reinvigorates a shite hole. but before he shows up.

No, I understand that. I also understand that I can look at a menu like that one I saw online, and be about 75% sure they are just mailing it in on prepackaged slop.

I don't deny that either.

They have a lot of unique places that put effort into what they put out as well.

Baton Rouge seems to be slowly catching on. I hope they keep it up.

No doubt. I never even opened the menu

Caliente has some of the worst beef fajitas I have ever eaten. Can't see this place lasting long.
