Theoretically... but I meant that I don't think they even park it there overnight. I could be wrong though, I walk by a good bit, but always during the work day.

Pretty sure those were written for trucks/trailers that were moving and popping up at different places. That is not the case here, essentailly they are permanently parking a restaurant there. That is a different scenario, seems like Tin Roof should do a build out if that is what they want to do.

There are some quirky LA rules around opening up a restaurant directly at a brewery...see the bottom of this Advocate article with the actual wording.

I'm assuming this truck is there everyday? I'd like to hit it up before the baseball game tonight if the weather cooperates.

How are trucks/trailers allowed to park permanently infront of businesses. I am pro-foodtruck, but this is not a good idea, imagine if numerous businesses all started parking food trucks/trailers in front.

What is this nonsense?

LOL.. I understand that part. When I say allowed, I mean from the city/local government perspective. If every business owner let a guy permanently set up in their parking lot and sell tacos, that would not be a good thing. There has to be some rules and regulations involved.

Why doesn't Tin Roof just do a build out and add a restaurant ?

Even if they wanted to I dont know if they could due to the ridiculous laws in our state.

My complaint was a few Saturday's ago I went to Tin Roof (2 weeks ago) and the Taco Truck wasn't open. Not a big deal but by 5 PM on a Saturday they still were not open and I decided to leave Tin Roof and head elsewhere. I would like a consistent food truck with consistent hours

When I went Sunday, they told me it was day 6 of operation..

So it looks like you went to a business that had not yet opened to the public

They have set hours as far as I can tell.

Hit it up before the game last night... tacos were excellent. I got the buffalo chicken, the chipotle shrimp, and the carne asada. The carne asada was probably my favorite. Next time I would just get 2 as they were stuffed full. I could barely finish all three

Also went before the game last night. Apparently I was right next to you judging by your pics in the FBD .

In the order from favorite to least favorite, I got the and Country Fried Steak, Carne Asada, and Buffalo Chicken. Buffalo chicken was almost sweet, but the other 2 were money. Will definitely get more next time I am at Tin Roof. I really want to try some of the other ones.
