If grease on the chairs and shitty atmosphere were unacceptable, every good po boy joint in NOLA would have gone out of business a long time ago.
Seriously, lighten up food snobs.

The point is she was describing a restaurant that was trashy and full of trash.
Nothing wrong with a place being old and worn out with a little funky atmoshphere going on which is what most of those po-boy joints are like.
Your comment about 90% of N.O. and Baton Rouge restaurants being like this is one of the dumbest things I have read around here unless you only eat at Ponchos and Ryans Buffets when not at fast food places.

Seriously? So now you are comparing some mythical hole-in-the-wall dive to a chain restaurant?
If i'm going to Cooter Brown's or Domilise's, I know i'm going to a dive to get a po-boy. If i go to chili's and it looks like Domilise's, i'm walking out because the level of quality will not make up for the lack of hygiene.
Doe's in Greenville is a perfect example. That place is a general shithole. It is a run down shack with grease everywhere, but they can get away with it because they serve some of the best steaks there. Now if Outback had the same level of hygiene, it's getting shut down by the food inspector.
Restaurants that excel in food are afforded leniency in other areas. I don't think RT excels in anything, and is therefore afforded no exceptions.

Well, which one is it? Don't let the FB snobs make you look foolish. I like McDonalds. I'm not ashamed.
Well I have ate there but I am not a regular by no means. My wife and kids like it so I normally get outnumbered. I can count the number of times in 47 years that I have been there on 1 hand. My wife (which is also my friend) likes the white sauce. So I thought I would make it for her to keep my happy arse out of that rest.

their alfredo sauce comes from a plastic bag.
does that mean it's bad?
no it doesn't mean it's bad, i'm just saying that it is how it is delivered.
