sorry if I gave you that impression. I think BMC products are garbage, but I couldn't care less what you or anyone else drinks.

actually, that's not true, I am very interested if you drink crafts, just because I like to read others opinions on different beers.

Exactly, drink what you want to drink, it's no skin off my sack.

However, if you drink craft beers, i like to know which ones and how they taste.

I don't give a shite how the new bud light platinum tastes, or how cool the new coors light cans look, because it tells you how cold they are.

But if you found a good pale ale from some small brewery out of north carolina, i'd be interested in trying it and knowing where you got it, ABV, IBU's, etc...

It's like the restaurant threads that are on this board. They are typically about some fancy new orleans non-chain restaurant. You're not going to come on here and brag about the quarter pounder from mcdonald's you ate, or the fish sandwich from long john silver's, because it's shitty pre-packaged food that is not made with care, but with expediency. Same goes with beer.

Support the craft beer movement!

Don't believe a word he said! All that stuff made by the breweries listed above are just garbage. If you see any of it, pack it up and send it to me for proper disposal.

Thanks,

I actually still have a case of cans and 12-pack of bottles from Pensacola two weeks ago I wouldn't mind parting with.

As far as Abita their Jockamo IPA is good if you like IPAs. Their Restoration Pale Ale is also good.
Sam Adams Latitude 48 is another good IPA.

Shiner Bock Hefeweizen is a good hefe if you like those. Paulaner Hefeweizen is also a great beer.

Really depends on what kind of you beer you prefer.

Bingo! Well said.

I use this parallel a lot: The only cheeseburger you've ever eaten is from McDonalds. You're happy. They get the job done. But one day, you go to Curbside and have their cheeseburger. And wow, that was a damn good cheeseburger. It makes that McDonald's cheeseburger seem really bad. Yeah, it may cost a little more to eat the Curbside cheeseburger, but the taste tradeoff is more than worth it. And now that you've tried a Curbside cheeseburger, maybe there are some other good cheeseburgers around. You think you'll see what other cheeseburger you can find.

Or maybe you're just content to eat McDonalds cheeseburgers.

McDonalds cheeseburgers = Bud/Miller/Coors
Curbside burgers = craft beer

Shock Top isn't premium, but it isn't bad for a Anseiher Busch product.

Try some of the local brews in here Huntsville. There are several very good ones. Straight to Ale Monkeynaught is great.

And that's just the start...
Straight to Ale in his home town. Take the Saturday tour of the brewery and get some free samples and then sit in the tap room and drink.

Also have Blue Pants which makes some good beers.

Yeah, Alabama really does have a good selection in my opinion.

Did they get their container laws changed this session?
