I'd go to Coyote Blues.
We went. We did not like. The stuffed pablano pepper is terrible. The seafood enchiladas were mediocre at best.

Well, but I am from Ellik and as everyone knows, it's the worst city on the planet.

Cant be as bad as Welsh or Erath?

Even Afreaux is too scared to go to either!

Imagine that - Gris pimpin Don's seafood downtown (where they cook the Gumbo but don't add the shrimp till you order). What's this world coming to?

I also like the hushpuppies, CC. The homemade tarter is good, as well.

Yes, they are crispy and good. Bet they could cook a State Fair corndog just like that too. Youzer!

Probably so, but I wouldn't order a corndog at Don's. I have to have gumbo.

For whoever said Mel's, it is sad to say that it is horrible now. Girlfriend and I went after mardi gras parade one night and it was disgusting. Soggy pancakes, uncooked eggs. I have been drunk on many occasions there the past couple of months and it is taking a bad turn for the worse.
