Well that's a bit hyperbolic, but I agree that it's a damn fine sandwich.

I wish I could get the recipe on it. Can't be that hard to make. Of course if I ever did I would instantly gain 50 lbs from eating one for breakfast lunch and dinner every day.

I've eaten sandwiches there, but what exactly is on a Darrell's Special. I haven't eaten one of those.

I like the shrimp better than the special. The bbq sausage is good too.

I am up here in Toronto thinking that very thing every day around 12pm until 1:30 pm 11 am La. time. I've taken to texting Mum and asking how the special is today....

My friend in Lake Charles has told us about that one as well...he says it's better, but I say there's no way a shrimp poboy/sandwich can be better than the special.
