After saying they're overpriced? Yep.

They literally take fries and put cheese on top and into the oven. Had them on Sunday. They aren't anything impressive

Don't worry about taking in the full context. It's so much easier not to.

So $10/11 for those fries is a good deal?

That was never the point. It's not a bad deal IMO. That size is big enough to share and you'd have a hard time replicating the exact thing at home for the same cost unless you don't count having everything already in your pantry.

That's a terrible way of looking at the cost of the food in relation to making it at home.

I guess the next time my gas grill runs out of propane I should just scrap the whole thing because that next meal will be $20 more expensive.

Let's not eat salad at home because I have to buy that bottle of dressing for $4, even though that will probably last a dozen more salads. Can't do that!!!!

No it isn't.

That's not the same.

Again, not the same.

You would need a whole block of cheese to make good cheese fries at home, and that alone will eat most of the $10 up.

Holy shite you are dumb. No, but I think to make a better at home version with freshly grated cheese, you will need a block to start with. Blocks of cheap cheddar cost over $6.

Hahaha, this is true ^

Last Sunday, our fries had NO cheese. Working in a restaurant with cheese fries ordered a lot, I know exactly what happened. They didn't put enough cheese and then they left the fries cooking and then out too long so it burnt and turned hard. The fries weren't gooey at all.

Then Jones added jalapenos to them, so they just didn't put any banana peppers .. WTF?

ETA: As for the drink prices, as I said earlier in the thread, we have never upcharged for rocks drinks. Upcharges are for martinis, drinks with other liquors as mixers, and drinks with red bull. And I think our drinks are expensive.. as my customers tend to remind me often.
