My “accusations” seem to correlate a lot with everyone else’s experience.

"Everyone" else you talk to.

What do you need me to elaborate on?

You're not going to so what's the point of going back and forth? You clearly aren't going to say which club you're associated with so we won't get anywhere with this.

I'll just say that I hope your experience, your children's experience, and any other child you know's experience is wonderful at whichever club you are associated with. And I truly hope they all succeed and flourish both athletically and personally.

Care to elaborate?

You first please since you made the accusations. A lot of words with no substance. It's easy to throw out hearsay and have everyone believe you.

But because I don't care and know the truth, then I will say that yes my children are at Force and no I'm not BB.

Which club are you associated with?
Good god almighty. This post is youth sports in a nutshell.
You'll have to ride through Oakbourne neighborhood off Hwy. 74 to see them. Can't see them any other way unless you go onto his property.
Everyone should be less concerned about the 3 people that called in the complaint about the lights and more concerned about what happened within the parish government that led to the lights being installed in the first place. It will all come out.
His facility was up well before the neighborhood. He donated some of his personal land to the actual development.

You say that like you know he hasn't tried. Or attempted other methods.

quote:

Sorry but you can’t put up stadium lighting in a neighborhood

He didn't. The lights are on his land. He's not a part of the neighborhood.

He’s never had a team that kicks anybody’s arse after that. Our ‘11 team has routinely beat them

He's got some up and comers that are beasts. Bu you're right, not every Force team is top of the chain, but his teams definitely perform at high levels and more importantly, he facilitates an environment where no kid who wants to train is left behind, feels involved and gets the most out of themselves. That's where the importance of how he runs the club comes into play. The wins and losses don't really matter as much as the adults believe it does.
I was glad I recently watched the video of James Cameron discussing all his movies. I would talk with friends about the Terminator movies and always point out that T1 is a horror movie and T2 was just pure action and I loved that they each have their own tone. I love them both for that.

I can't put one ahead of the other for that reason. I love them both but at the age I was when I saw the movie and the impact it had plus the rewatchability of it....T2 will always be my favorite of the franchise and my favorite action movie ever.

The rest of the movies, aside from Salvation, aren't worth discussing at all and an abomination.

Terminator 2 is his greatest and most significant film

Agreed. T2 is the king of action movies. Story, characters, pacing and the timing it came out....unmatched. Can watch it over and over.

This weekend I didn't have a lot of time to commit to long play sessions but I did just drop in where I could, loot and extract to try and run some quests and build up the stash. I decided not to care at all about anything really until I'm a higher level. Currently at 13. The gameplay loop is addicting.

Sweet, thanks. I'll do some solo runs and try to get a feel for it before wasting anyone else's time. Happy to join up where I can though.

Just picked this up. Never done an extraction shooter. Anything to focus on early on or just jump in and let the gaming gods be my guide?
Cool, yeah, I'll just do a run through of the story and shelve it for when my daughter decides she wants to jump back in to it.

First 66% of the game I rated it a 9 for the fun of running around Hogwarts and the combat is fun. The last section drops it to a 7 for me.

I've heard this about it or something similar. I actually bought it for my daughter and she played for a while but I think it was too much for her. I have it so I thought I'd do a play through but thanks for the heads up. I'm still in the middle of Doom Eternal and I may finish that around the time Battlefield 6 drops so, depending on how that looks, I might have to get it.
I was having similar feelings a while back so I stopped playing Warzone, Rocket League, etc. and started focusing on back log and games I missed out on and it's been wonderful. I was always terrible about not finishing so I don't move on to the next game until I finish the whole story or 100% all trophies. Since April of 2024 I've knocked the following:

Witcher 3 (3rd replay but wanted to finally do it all)
Arkham Knight
Doom 2016
Doom Eternal (current)
Ghost of Tsushima
Days Gone
Spider-man 2
God of War Valhalla DLC
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Next up either Mass Effect Trilogy or Harry Potter Legacy

Hellboy 2 is Top 5

Honestly not sure what my top 5 would be but I feel like this is an accurate statement. Golden Army is severely underrated.
I enjoyed it, the family enjoyed it. There wasn't anything I was disappointed in, per se. I liked Corenswet far more than I thought I would and I feel like I haven't seen him specifically getting enough praise for coming in, post-Cavillgate, and nailing it. You can tell he really wanted to get the job done and I think he was tremendous.

Batman is going to struggle in this universe.

See, I feel like Batman, is going to have an opportunity to really thrive in this universe. Hopefully they don't waste it.

Yeah, I didn't expect my take to change minds(if they're already made up). As a 90's kid who dreamed of having these comics come to life on screen, I rarely complain for complaining sake. Some are great, some aren't, some stories are changed, some aren't. I lean into enjoying them rather than the opposite. To each their own I guess. I, personally, am very excited for this, Thunderbolts and Superman.
