Ended up at La madeliene. Sitting in front of a massive salmon Caesar salad and a cup of tomato basil soup with diet coke and a squeeze of lemon.
Yummy.

Your best bet is looking at the menu and getting a combo.
I usually do the duet which is a sandwich, side salad or pasta salad, and cup of soup. Like $10-12.
Tonight I got an entree salad and cup of soup and drink.. $18

I don't remember it being that bad. I had ordered the croque monsieur and it was delicious. Waiting for the crowds to die down before I try it out again.

A new "upscale" mexican place is about to open next to Subway (in Nimbeaux's shopping center) pretty soon.. the menu looks great.
