My dad used to boil gaint pots of boiled peanuts and put them in small bags and freeze. Every time we'd visit home, we'd thaw out a couple of bags to much on.

Chocolate Soldiers! Hells yeah, I had plenty of those sugar grenades back in the day. Also, Quick Kick was much better than Gatorade, Powerade, etc. More like Koolaid I guess. Probably had tons of sugar.

I have recently heard about people doing this when they were younger, but I seriously do not remember ever seeing this when I was a kid. Does the coke do something to the peanuts? Is there a unique taste?

How many peanuts go into the Coke? Some? All?

Do you eat the peanuts after the Coke is gone?

Back when they made the Cokes and RC's in bottles. I would take a couple of drinks, then pour half of the little sack of peanuts in the bottle. Then drink about half, while also eating the peanuts as they came out. Then do the same thing to the other half.. Pretty complicated! Tim, did you have a different method?
