It was my go to beer when I lived in Thailand. It's smooth, creamy, has a good flavor and a clean aftertaste. I wish Guiness would get off there butt and sell it all across the country.

The Alaskan Brewing Smoked Porter smells like a camp fire when you pop the bottle. Big fan.
It's one of their best beers. Probably their most award winning.

Can anyone recommend a good Cream Ale? I can't find many in the states and the few I have found have a horrible aftertaste.

The only Alaskan I've ever had was their winter ale. First time I had tasted spruce in beer and was an eye opening experience in my early maven days.

I like Boddington's but it is the only cream ale I have ever tried.

Yeah, they use Sitka Spruce tips and try to source as much locally and regionally as they can. Good people there and they make a good product. I do business with them.

Try Belhaven and John Smiths Extra Smooth Ale.

I live in Kauai and stumbled across Kilkenny at the Kauai Beach Resort Inn. Bartender says they only have 3 kegs left and will not be getting any more in.

I would have bought all 3 and figured out a way to get them home.

If you like blue moon give this a try. I like it more bc it doesn't have the waxy aftertaste.
