DCA is psychologically easier for most but mathematically more often wrong than right. Lump sum all at once maximizes time in market.
I generally think you have to get promoted or change positions to get decent pay raises. Staying in the same role for years isn’t the way to maximize compensation unfortunately.
I would keep the 3% mortgage until I was 100 if I could. Paying off my home gives me zero peace of mind. I still have $10K+ required to pay every year in taxes and insurance so let’s not act like I ever truly own my home.
You just mentioned a variety of majors where college is useful…
Teach kids to think critically an be adaptable, continuous learning. World will change at rapid pace so this is the only thing that creates a hedge.
The math is easy. Assume the dunk 100% probability so the expected value of the shot is 2 pts. It’s probably actually lower than that but for simplicity. For a 3 to be worth more the the shooter must be at least 66.6% for an expected value greater than 2.
Not once enough early adopters prove that it has better success rates.

To the OP, I do not worry about what I cannot control. This progress is a freight train that isn’t slowing down. Adapt.
1. I do not get state tax deduction benefit.
2. What Roth conversion are you speaking of? You can only convert $35K from 529 into Roth assets.

I’m unaware of a conversion of a Trump account. You could pay the taxes on a withdrawal and then fund a ROTH IRA with that cash flow early in career…but I do not believe there is a more tax efficient way to do so .
I'll stick with a 529 that has some actual tax benefits on the backend. The $1K is great for those that cannot afford to start saving.

If this was a ROTH IRA type treatment then I would put $5K a year for every year as long as they allow it....but this is not the case.
This is the ultimate macro photography. Fascinating.

I spend like $100 for the online version. This is not where I am fighting my battles. No issues.
There will not be deflation, nor do you want to see it. The best opportunity is real wage growth that provides relative affordability improvements.

Independent consulting on what topic? I don’t see a MBA being a difference maker going that path.
I don’t think a position change fixes anything. Campbell needs to get stronger and out on some weight. He really struggles with the bull rush in the NFL.

Find the edge you seek. Have you calculated what this approach yields you?

I don’t understand how you are getting an unsecured 4% LOC.

I keep ample in a checking account…enough that I never need to worry about a bill bouncing. I expect it cost me about 2.2% annually net of taxes.
Just a boring game. Forgettable.
The visuals were really good. I don’t speak Spanish so that was a barrier.
 actually it is not at all. I’m very well versed in tax law.
