Yeah, its cheap because you aren't paying for a ton of glass bottles. Almost anything is cheaper when bought in bulk. Even my wife shakes her head at guys that order bottles over draft.

Not sure of their hours, but I like Southdowns Liquor. Great place that seemingly many college students seem to overlook.

This is the only time you should drink draft beer.

Are you being serious. Any beer drinker with even a little bit of knowledge should know that draft is superior to bottles and cans. Let me guess, you just drink bud light, right?
lets not start this whole debate. draft is great for gameday because of the sheer volume/convenience to cost ratio. The flavor out of a keg is no different than a bottle or can. In other situations, like buying obscure beers from far away, bottles are a better choice because they hold the flavor better.
Now, as for places like the bulldog, in order to serve great draft beer the lines must be properly cleaned and maintained anytime you change beers on that line. I doubt that the bulldog does this. /rant about bulldog.

Wrong, just wrong. I taste a difference in almost any beer other than very weak flavored beers, like domestic lights.

they do this. that is why the bulldog does draft beer so well
but back to the original topic of this thread, catering kegs is where we go. good guys there, our tap broke during a tailgate and they came to campus and brought us a new one.

I strongly prefer a newly tapped keg run through clean lines than bottled or canned beer. With that said, there is not much worse than a stale keg run through dirty beer lines, especially if you just paid $6.50 for a pint. Then again, I have never had an issue anywhere requesting a different replacement for a bad pint, either. It's a good reason for pubs to buy the mini kegs for beer that is not mass consumed.
