Have you tried the Mercury Head? Wife really likes that one.

It’s awesome, but I always note that I am a Dave Phinney homer so I have bias.

Different than I remembered, but I did have Covid and I think that’s still affecting smell, and to some extent, taste.

St Supery should be really balanced. Very easy for wine and non wine folks to drink. Honda Accord Napa Cab if you will. $30 crowd pleaser.

Though I seemed to have detected more acidity and spice than before. Not in pleased though. Could be covid effects or could just be the result of a different vintage

I just realized that I bought a Hungarian wine made by a Louisianian
This guy went out and just made it happen...bought a piece of land in Hungary in 2003 and went for it!
Still works at Women's hospital
Anyone know him? This is the vineyard:
The story behind Hungarian wine is pretty cool. Short version is that the Soviets ruined it and produced a lot of terrible wine so the Hungarians have spent the last 30 years trying to build their reputation again.
There are several distinct regions and Bull's Blood (Bikaver) is the most popular blend, which can be made in the north (Eger) or south (Villany).

2018 Del Dotto Battle With the Corona Dragon Cab.
Opened it sooner than I hoped but after beating the plague felt like I had to

My wife and I toured Del Dotto a couple of years ago. We didn't know anything about it, just was a nice looking tour while Googling. We had a great time, shipped a few bottles home, as well as some olive oil. I usually buy 3-4 bottles a year from them online now.
I recently bought their 2018 Giovanis Tuscan Reserve, wondering when I should open it??

Nice. Del Dotto & Darioush take their olive oil seriously, both are amazing.

I went to Budapest a few years ago and they are really proud of their wines. I was impressed with the quality and value across the board.
