I enjoyed WH1 and 2, but the fanboys who only play the WH games are some of the most toxic people on Steam and reddit who are now crying that WH3 isn’t coming out this year. If they’re gonna do licenses games, I hope they can get the license for LOTR or GOT.
I'm kinda sad that WH3 isn't coming sooner, but it's fine. They need to take some time to flesh things out, because they absolutely rushed some of the post-launch updates for WH2.
I really hope they could do a LOTR or GOT. I know there's a great Crusader Kings mod for GOT, but I don't find the game nearly as fun to play as TW.

I also haven't played the Warhammer ones. CA is getting very money whorish keeping the base game prices up, releasing full priced sequels a year later, and churning out relatively expensive DLC. So I am waiting for another historical one because that is where my interest lies.
You should give them a shot, they've done a very good job with them. The sequels are absolutely worth the price have far more content than most TW games. As for the DLC, it's a mixed bag. Some of the DLC is absurdly overpriced, but some of the DLC like Wood Elves and Tomb Kings is fantastic and worth the cost.

Why can't they do a GOT version

Works on my windows 10 laptop just fine. I have emperor edition- not sure if it would make any difference.

I think Rome II Emperor Edition is fine. I’ve dumped 1000+ hours into the game since launch day according to Steam. I preordered it, it was a mess, but I don’t regret it. Looking forward to the new DLC they are releasing for it.

The two biggest things that go against it is the obvious lack of license.
The second thing is that TW has some very vanilla diplomacy options. With so few options, TW doesn't seem to be the best option for the universe.

Yeah I'm having no issue launching it, sorry to hear that

Westeros Total War Mod For MTW2
The current version available is an alpha, so it's pretty damn rough around the edges and doesn't totally work right. It looks like the 1.00 version release is getting close now though.

I'm definitely getting Thrones of Brittania and Three Kingdoms.

Holy crap if they did a Game of Thrones Total War I would literally shite. I can't imagine how amazing that would be; some kind of deeper alliance system, being able to start as any house in the damn world, maybe a touch of supernatural stuff like a couple dragons in your army or a unit of direwolf mounted soldiers. Good God.
