I searched for other posts on this game and came up empty. Anyone else playing it, or has played it? It’s been out for a few years. Absolutely fantastic game that is basically a love letter to Metroid. Fun weapons and items and a killer soundtrack. I’m more or less halfway through right now, I think. The game is quite challenging if you play on the Hard difficulty. I legitimately thought I would not be able to beat the Gir-Tab Variant for a while and it probably took me 50 tries to finally get past it.

ETA: Catching some subtle Rygar influences as well as the game progresses. If you grew up on that freeform style of NES platforming adventure games, you should check this one out for a blast of nostalgia.

Fun game but pretty mind-fricky once you get past a certain point.

I’ll also give it credit for getting creative in its power ups and barriers to be overcome, as I thought it would be more straightforward Super Metroid crap and not as inventive as it is.

I love a good Metroidvania title, but I just couldn't get into this one. Same for Hollow Knight. Played the frick out of some Bloodstained, but not this one.
