This is taking FOREVER to download on the 360. Going to have to wait until tomorrow to jump in. Have a late day at work tomorrow. Hope I'm not too tired to play when I get in.

A little glitchy, but a nice deviation away from CoD. That being said, holy shite you can't hit anything if you don't look down sights. It's nice that I can still kinda drop shot. That being said, these frickers that hang out in the corners of rooms and in the bushes like little stalkers might ruin the game point blank.

Only time I'm not shooting down my sights is if I run up on someone around a corner or am popping up from cover to hit a tank with an rpg.

yea, I finally gave up on trying to connect on 360 and downloaded it on PS3 last night. Played for about 45 minutes and had a blast, only thing that sucks is I keep getting confused on controller layout, havent ever played fps on PS3 and kept throwing grenades when I was trying to do something else or would take me too long to activate gadgets. Overall, I like it....a lot. Much slower pace than cod but more fun in a realistic way, was funny to see people trying to quickscope and run around knifing, then see them as 1-18 at end of match. Later on those would be the same players laying in corners though. I will definitely be getting both BF3 and MW3 just to have the variety

I died more trying to figure out how to go prone.
ETA: I did manage to slip up behind someone and slit his throat.

That was another beef I had when playing on PS3. There was no option to look at your button layout. I don't care if I can't change them. Just want to know what they are.
It was the same crap when I played the alpha. No way to change the controls, but they still didn't let you look at what they might be. I spent the first 15 minutes just playing around with everything.

Look into the alternate controller layout. I didn't try it, but it may be CoD influenced.

Here's something me and my roommate noticed last night. Yesterday I complained on here about thinking I had unlocked a scope but couldn't find it anywhere to equip. Looked all over the place. He thought I was just imagining I unlocked it, but the same thing happened to him. That's when we noticed that each side has their own weapons. Understandable, but if you unlock a scope for assault class on one team, it won't be available for that class on the other team.
Is this how BF has always been, because I seemed to have that issue in BC2 as well. I'm not a big fan of this if this is true.

So do I. I just need to get out of panic-knife mode.
And plus, playing on PC, I'm still trying to figure out what button I want to assign to melee. Have it on "C" right now, but still not comfortable with it.

The game played fine, liked the graphics but the lack of controller options grips me the most.

I don't remember it being that way in Bad Company but it really does suck on this game. I tore it up with my assault rifle in one game (I got over 30 kills) and I was pretty confused when I went to the next round and I had nothing but iron sights on the gun. It's still not too hard to unlock the attachments but it is annoying to have to unlock everything twice.
