What the guy above me said. Basically a Rust clone set in Fallout universe

If it's a rust clone, then this thing will crash and burn.

I don't expect it to be like that at all.

Have you people played rust?

It looks like you can set up a settlement anywhere. I think I prefer an established spot with at least some little bit to work with like in FO4. I don't want to start from scratch and just clear a spot in the woods.

Yes. It is not that terrible. Crazy it is picking up players. I know a butch of kids who play Rust and Fortnite only. Minecraft seems to have died with them.

Besides that we have to eat and drink. Fallout is really turning into a survival game.

some of the predetermined spots in fo4 sucked tho.

like that one in the city streets. little room to do anything cool.

i like the idea of exploring and setting up anywhere. really will be quite an experience. will have to decide between convenience to major areas or hidden away from the world.

Some sucked and some were good, that's the challenge. They could add new things like bunk beds or planters to make it easier to build in small spaces. There will also be good and bad spots to build in the wild so you will have to be selective there too.

yeah. the movie theatre and gas station were sweet

i added two complete floors onto the top of the gas station and fortified it into a fortress.

My favorite was the rooftop settlement.

the swimming pool with the ghouls is where i had my water farm and automated laser/rocket turrets. i made a guy a lookout and had him stand next to a siren he would hit when invaded

hitting that siren activayed a switch that shutdown all power to the water farm and rerouted it up to my laser and rocket turrets on the roof.

turned into the fourth of july anytime i was raided. fun stuff

I wanted a better way to repair destroyed buildings. Like on Spectacle Island for instance, you can't really rebuild the walls of that house. You can sort of have some shack walls floating in about the right spot but it looks like shite. There should be some way to patch walls to where it fits right, but still looks obviously patched.

The Slog. Its right next to Saugus Ironworks. I liked that place.

You can actually rebuild the wall at The Castle. I've seen people do some impressive builds with it.

i tried to build something ontop the broken interstate but i had ran out of steam.

so i just fenced the entire farm in with minigun turret peepholes. some crazy assholes always raided there.
