I’m still avoiding the full spoiler thread being I did so little side content the first time through, but I’ll simply say: on a second playthrough, the “know not” cutscene was one of the most intense I’ve experienced in a long, long time.

Again, how insane is it that the chick who wrote the game, was a banker before this

And had never written anything else, to my knowledge

Just impossible that this game is so good

Frequently what I'm about to say is overblown as a positive, but I do think she was well served by not having a ton of "experience" to draw on on this one. That usually gets overwhelmed by stupid decisions in long form stories (books, movies, etc), but for a relatively short form story like a video game, I think it helped keep the vision interesting.

So, super minor, but I want to take a second to brag about pulling off a zero damage Expert kill of the Chromatic Jar at level 23/24. Highest damage was only 5,015, total damage 269,236, fight time of 10:31 and had to string together 36 parries

My greatest accomplishment was killing Gorg? Or whatever the giant thing that was in the water. Beat it before ending Act 2 so limited to 9,999. That was my peak for the game. Everything else was nothing compared to it. Nothing.

Haha yeah, I took a few cracks at him my first time through, but then let it go because I didn’t want to burn time to “get good” when I knew I would be coming back through on Expert. I’m looking forward to it this time.

The music mixing in the prologue is finally correct. It was the worst in the whole game from quite to blasting loud back and forth. Now it sounds good

All of the new content is post game like very end of game stuff. All of the quality of life stuff like lumina sets are just in the ui for you automatically. They made everything a bit cleaner and easier to keep track of. You can also go into the settings and adjust how big or small you want your own on screen ui to be. New music in the game too and some older fights have remixed tracks
