Honestly I wouldn't upgrade walls until I had at least lvl 3 defenses, 6 makers, 8 storages, and 5 TH

level 1 wall breakers break thru level 1 walls
2 level 1 wall breakers break thru level 2 walls
1 level 2 wall breakers break thru level 3 walls
2 level 2 wall breakers break thru level 4 walls
basically what i'm getting at is if you don't have the defenses to kill the enemies flooding thru the gaping hole blown thru your walls, no matter the level of the wall....you're gonna lose your resources anyhow.
upgrade importance:
storage > defenses > mines > walls
mines depending on if you're just going to rape and pillage other peoples resources or sit and wait for yours. i prefer to steal.
we can provide you with level 2-4 troops to protect your base. don't waste them attacking enemies. keep them in your clan castle to kick arse when you get attacked.

i always use them to attack b/c i have all lvl 1 attackers
im going to start leaving them to protect now
