I usually play hollow as well. It's like if I'm human and have humanity at stake, it's inevitable that I'm going to somehow die a stupid death and lose everything.

it's going to irritate me to no end when I eventually try to play with chaos weapons.
I will want to have 10 loose humanity to boost the effectiveness of the weapon, which makes the thought of death very hard to stomach.

Just got killed with 20k souls and 15 humanity? Going back to recover? How bout a nice backstep off a ledge
I think my current characer I'll bit the bullet, finish the game, and use it as pvp. I want a new character for playing the game though.IDK. I'm getting too wrapped up in this game now and not showing the rest of my games any love

I think that they are just fire weapons that scale with humanity.

ETA: I think normal fire is better with no humanity enhancement, but chaos edges out fire with the added humanity modifier. that would make the most sense, anyway.
Quelaag's Fury is a chaos weapon, FYI.

Ahh ... Okay yeah I always wondered why you would choose the chaos over regualr fire.
Do you know the risk/reward difference it has over fire when you have max humanities?

I think it varies with weapon, but this is what was posted about Queelag's Furysword:
first column is humanity
second is phys damage
third is fire damage

Not any moreso than me not wanting to go to work today so I could stay home and play the game
I don't know if I'll be able to play at all tonight though. Probably just gonna hang out with my wife and daughter the whole night. I'll be on for a couple hours tomorrow though. I'm sure I'll be hard-headed and try to solo O&S 5-6 times before I summon on of y'all

I'm debating on what/how to level my weapons. I came back to darkroot to get souls and level up my silver knight sword. It's pretty good now. Dark Sword is long forgotten now that I see how scaling works 
IDK if I want to level up to divine weapons or wait for something better (fire, lightning)
any advice?
