It is becoming my go to nightfall energy weapon.
Also if you haven't put a minor spec mod on your primary kinetic, I can't suggest it enough. Seeing 3k crits on red bars with a tigerspite is heavenly.

I just got one of those mods the other day, thanks for the tip
I’m gonna make an actual run for whisper this weekend. Anyone know if it’s soloable at current light levels or do I have to lfg?

did it with three players and it was still pretty tough. it'll be hard to do it solo.

Well shite, hopefully there are people out there that still need it.
And yeah Ace is the bomb, its just so satisfying when you nail a headshot with it and get that “schwing” on the reload

Yeah I don’t know what’s exotic about the fact that it fires slower from 4 barrels than normal autos do from 1

So those raid plates everyone has been finding in random places, some people on reddit put together what they do.

So each of the plates correspond with a “wish”, and each wish has a different effect some of which are still undiscovered. Looking at the comments, it looks like you can use some of these plate patterns as a guide to get raid loot without ever having to kill thing. That is, some of them let you skip entire encouners, and then you can back track to a chest from there. Granted it’s only one chest you can get to without combat from what I gathered, but still could be useful in case any of you are trying to bump that power level. I may have misinterpreted what they were saying but I’m pretty sure you can get to at least 1 raid chest using this as a guide without having to shoot shite.
ETA: Just tried it, totally works. Got the new raid power weapon though. I wanted that hand canon : /

I need to hit up xur on my hunter and titan since I didn't make them until maybe two months ago. Still need the majority of y1 exotics.

Rng fricked me hard on my second character. Only a 0.3 gain in max light level over my first after running two more raid encounters. May not hit 560 this week.

Are you not getting powerful engrams? I haven't gotten to 400 yet but I haven't even finished the campaign because I play another game primarily. Game is fun and I'm really enjoying it.
