You will never increase your light level unless you're doing milestones. If you've finished milestones for the week and your only goal is to increase that number, put the controller down until the following Tuesday. Farming for exotics isn't worth it, and it's the only way to level up.

Exactly. I did all my milestones last night besides nightfall in about 2 hours. I went up from 291 to 295. Having to wait for the reset stinks, but it does help with the longevity of the game, while waiting for the expansions. Plus iron banner next month, and prestige raid coming.

Oddly enough, I got a number of 300 blue drops once my warlock got to 304-305. Thought that wasn't possible with mods.

Once you hit 300, drops and rep engrams drop at 300. May have to wait 30 min once you hit 300 though

That was my warlock.
My Titan is 302, and I was getting 292-293 shite all night. Not sure what the difference was between the two.

Now that o think about it, the only difference between characters is that my warlock prestiged the nightfall. That's all I can figure.

As they said I think you get 300 drops when you reach 300 base. I would not know as I can't get there. Just unlucky.
Warlock base is 298.5
Titan Base is 299.5
Hunter base is 298.5
But you said your warlock was 300 base Tuesday when we were playing.

That makes perfect sense. As I said before your drops would be 5 power below your base. Your Titans base is probably around 297-298, if it's actual power with mods is 302.
Quick way to check your base is to use destiny item manager like I have been telling you to.

I think its bullshite that adding mods is so expensive. Basically have zero glimmer after all the modding.

How can I get a 300 blue drop when my max light was 304 with mods? By definition there I'm not base 300.

You straight up said you were 305 Tuesday. So I am assuming you were. Type in Destiny Item Manger into google, log in with your psn name, look under your warlocks emblem, and see if it says 300. If so that is why. If it says 299 or something, then you broke the game and we need to figure out the cause.
