eta: I can't see destiny showing how they kill off one of their main characters in a teaser trailer. bet they use the vex time travel some how to bring him back after he's killed in game

also the upcoming expansion has got me playing D2 again. playing through all the DLC since I quit playing shortly after launch. having a blast. Sept 4th can't get here soon enough
side note, what is the invisibility/looks like a cloak made of stars skin that I see some guardians running around with? looks great and I need it

seems like all the streamers who went to the summit loved gambit
with weapons now having random rolls and armor actually having perks, Y1 stuff is basically worthless

Game is going to be kickass in September. Sadly Spider-Man & Tomb Raider will suffer and I'll have to play both some other time b/c of Forsaken. 
I would guess maybe Shiro-4 from ROI?

I'm really excited to be able to keep my Better Devils, Midnight Coup, Nameless Midnight, Manannan, Pleiades Corrector etc. relevant going into year 2. Those are some amazing guns.
Having armor perks again makes me very excited.

Those are good but the new guns with Firefly could be better. They will probably have better variants.

I jumped into d2 late.
Bought on a PC from Humble for 12$
Toldmyself id just play vanilla...then forsaken reveal and the year1 expansions go onsale for 20bucks ...purchased.
Im on my grind to 30 and other than no random weapon rolls and one use shaders i am really enjoying the game. Its so awesome to get a weapon and all the perks are unlocked,,really sucked in d1
I play titan and got huckleberry and the legs from xur..i just need a submachime gun for my other slot.
I dont understand why the game was shat upon on release. Of anyone cod give me cliffs i would appreciate that.I played vanilla destiny 1 through hardmode taken king..and d2 story is awesome. I love faction rallies and doing the lost caches and there seems to be no bullshite grinding. What is the rub?

Updates over the last few months have tremendously helped D2. It was an extremely bare game from what we experienced in D1. That is changing very quickly. Once we get the Forsaken DLC and a few more additions, D2 will finally be the real successor to D1. The Destiny community is definitely breathing fresh air.

I put in a ton of time into D1 and quit D2 last fall without even fully unlocking shadowshot (think my light was at 205 or something)
Picked it back up shortly after warmind came out and have had a much better experience. Warmind helped with some of the problems (still no matchmaking on nightfalls blows my mind tho).
Made a titan last week and finished leveling up this past weekend. Will do the same for Warlock. Want all three classes fully leveled when Forsaken drops.

Warmind has definitely given me reason to play again. The exotic weapon quests, escalation protocol, sleeper nodes, exotic weapon and armor tuning...all good stuff.

I'm going to hold off for a few months. Once it gets to the point the D1 was at with TTK, I'll get back involved. I got D1 at ttk and loved it, I'm going to let D2 get far along without me and then get involved when I have tons to do again. I never got completely done with D1 and that made it fantastic. The clan is awesome as well and I hate not playing with those guys, but D2 had been such a drag that I decided to let it get way ahead of me before I pick it up again

Looks like they have some pretty awesome changes coming down the pipe. Really didn't think they would touch weapon slots and Gambit seems awesome, so I guess they will finally have a complete game by year 2/3 and then they get to repeat the whole cycle over again for Destiny 3
