This week has been a blast messing with this. Definitely something to do to get buddies their guns and then go wreck shite with them. Keeps it interesting until forsaken at least.

Really got back into the grind the past couple weeks to get caught up on everything before the next expansion. Was able to knock out nightfalls on every character so now I'm ready to try the Raid out and have been having a hell of a time finding a fireteam

Use the Destiny Companion App to find a a raid team. I use it all the time, and can get a team together in 5-10 minutes.

I'm glad I don't have that problem. Would be very frustrating. Hell, I ran 3 raids last night with my clan.

It really is. The Xbox built in LFG system is amazing. I always fill a lobby in minutes.

Press the guide button on controller, go to game hub for destiny, hit multiplayer.

That's what I had been using but for some reason just last night I was having trouble.
I was able to find a team and do Eater of Worlds for the first time. I unintentionally joined a group doing that before the normal Leviathan raid which I still haven't tried.
Is there any reason I would have missed out on anything doing EOW before regular?

Nope everything would be fine. The best bang for the buck as far as time goes is EoW assuming everyone knows what to do. Especially if you are also after the Leviathan milestone engram.

At this point, I would focus on learning prestige levi, eow, and sos. Just run the prestige versions for efficient loot. But if you're not 385, run regular raids first to boost your power level. Then run prestige after.

Yep, highest is only 369. So I'll plan on hitting EOW, which is what I finished last night, first and then the regular raid.

Make sure you're doing the weekly milestones as well. If you hit all of those and do each raid and pretige version, you should gain at least 10 power levels in one week. Depending on drops, you could gain 20.
Eta: be aware when you complete prestige EoW and SoS, you cannot infuse the weapons into other weapons unless they're exotic. Exotics max at 405. Everything else maxes at 385.

I still haven't done the raid yet. Not sure what good lfg sites there are for pc.
