Does anyone still game on the Wii?

Over the past month I found myself drawn back to this console. But what I discovered during this time is why I'm now using this daily: there is still an active online community.
Yes I'm just as stunned as the next person is. WiiConnect24 and NWFC were shut down around 2014 which prevented games like Mario kart Wii and the Forecast Channel to stop working. Well. As of last week I've got everything back running and have been playing some CTGP since. And my goodness it makes MKWii probably my favorite MK of all time.
Sure I'm just a Nintendo fanboy. But if anyone knows about this and is familiar with the Homebrew Channel, you can come on. If anyone doesn't know about this and wants to know more then I'll be glad too.

My Wii still gets plenty of usage.
I nodded it years ago. I dont too much play it but my daughter and nephew wear it out.
However, a few weeks ago, we did pull out donkey Kong conga and play as a family.

Not enough space on my TV stand to support the Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and Switch, so my Wii U isn't hooked up.
The only Wii games I own are Sonic Colors and Zelda Skyward Sword.

I use mine occasionally to play Gamecube games - Metroid Prime, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door, F-Zero GX, etc. My Gamecube is boxed up.

I need to hook it up and see if Goldeneye is still running online. Might get back on there and wreck some people again.

I still use my Wii for Gamecube and Virtual Console games. My niece also likes to play Wii Sports Resort when she's visiting.

I still use my WiiU but I also haven't yet bought a PS4 or XBone. I just use my brother's XBone when he stays over summer.

This was my jam and what got me back into gaming. What was your screen name?

I have mine set up on my garage tv for the sole purpose of bowling. I use it more than I care to admit.

Just beat my nephew in Wii baseball. Would have shut the little bastard out but the pitcher fricked up a screwball and left it hanging over the plate
