how is it? thinking about buying it. Also, how many people play online and how long do you see this game lasting?

If you liked the first one, you'll enjoy this one, except there isn't much different from the last one to this one.
It was entertaining enough, but fairly short storyline so if you are one of those who don't like doing side quests shouldn't pick this one up. Also money in this game essentially becomes worthless. As when you own property you get rent every 5 min, regardless of if you're playing or not, plus there is no real consequence for dying (your character model gets a new scar).
I know I just knocked it, but I enjoy playing these types of games, and will play through as a good person (last time I was horrifically evil and currupt), so It will give a new game experience. Plus the new dog aspect of the gameplay was interesting, and you do find yourself becoming attached to it before the game's end.
Fable 2 is a good game, but I still think Fable 1 was a little better.

rent it, don't buy it, it is like 9hrs long and set up exactly the same as the first one, just more bells and whistles.

I was really disappointed in the game. The first one was better. The story was lacking severely. I didn't like how when you were given missions there wasn't a better camera view. I guess I would rather have had more video on the missions and better graphics. There are better games out, If you're buying, I would get something else
